Scholarships for Missionaries from Developing Countries

At Gateway to Khmer, we believe that language learning should be accessible to those committed to serving communities in Cambodia.

We offer scholarship opportunities and discounted tuition rates for eligible missionary students from developing countries who commit to completing our full 10-level Khmer language programme.

Our scholarship support aims to make long-term language learning more accessible, equipping missionaries with the language skills they need to build relationships, engage with local communities, and serve more effectively in Cambodia.

Eligibility and Application: Scholarship opportunities are subject to eligibility criteria, availability of funding, and a commitment to completing all 10 levels of study. Interested students are encouraged to contact us to discuss their circumstances and available support.

Long-Term Study & Visa Support

Gateway to Khmer supports long-term students who wish to study Khmer in Cambodia. Students who meet G2K’s compliance requirements and enrol in up to six levels of study at one time may be issued an Enrollment Letter, usable as supporting documentation for a Cambodian Student Visa application.

Issuance is subject to G2K’s internal policies — students must meet enrolment, payment and attendance requirements. This letter is supporting documentation only: G2K does not guarantee visa approval, renewal, or any immigration outcome, as decisions remain solely at the discretion of Cambodian authorities.
